Lane looked back at Angel. "Oh! Are you okay? Does it hurt?" He asked, motioning to her leg that seemed to be limping.

Angelheart shruged. "Kinda." She said looking down at the bruised leg. "I hit it on the rocks."

Lane looked up to her, worried. "I'm not a good hero, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I can't heal!" He murmured, shaking his head.

"Lane, it's okay. I'm not expecting you to be a magical all healing Alicorn. I'm just asking you to be you." She smiled.

Lane blushed a bit, smiling. "T-Thanks I guess." He murmured, blinking. "I just want to help.... I mean, to be liked- wait that sounded awkward, nevermind."

Angelheart laughed. "Don't worry lane, your doing just fine."

Lane smiled. "I hope so... I don't want to seem stupid." He murmured, rolling his eyes. "Ah, well I guess we are here. Get settled, I'll be out looking at the sunset."

Angelheart nodded and walked into the room

Lane went outside and sat on the nearby beach. The sunset was a blend of orange, yellow, and red, and it was beautiful. Lane smiled, taking a long blink. "It's so beautiful....." He murmured to himself.

she leadned up against the window seel. she could see Lane, and the sunse.

Lane sighed. He was content. He wasn't alone right now. It was great.

she turned around and laid donw on the bed. she looked at her leg. it was bruised bad.

Lane looked around in the sand, and eventually found a beautiful shell. When he put it towards the sun, it would become brilliantly bright. "Woah." He murmured. "I'm going to keep this shell!"

Lane waved at Angel when he noticed her staring at him.

Lane motioned to come out and sit beside him. He didn't want to keep the beauty of the sunset just to himself, he wanted Angel to see it.

Angel trotted outside, still limping. She sat down next to him

"I just wanted to show you this sunset. It's beautiful." Lane murmured, staring at it. "Oh- and also, I found this for you." Lane handed her the shell he was looking at earlier. "I don't know if you'll really appreciate it but I just hope that it's pretty enough to make you like it."

Angelheart smiled. "Lane, it's beautiful!" She said holding it. "I'll cherish this forever!"

"T-Thanks." Lane sputtered. "I'm happy you liked it."

Angelheart smiled. "Its perfect."

"Thank you. I haven't felt this happy since, since.... Since AngelWings was here." Lane replied, a hopeful smile on his face.

Angelheart nodded.

" I guess I may be able to move on after all..... Maybe look for new opportunities...." Lane murmured, smiling.
